SETU MADHAV PLACED SECOND IN AP SENIOR STANDINGS
Yellumahanthi Setu madhav with a current rating of 1843 from Srikakulam district got Runner-up in the AP STATE SENIOR OPEN CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP-2021. His father is Mr. YSV Kumar & mother is Mrs. Anusha. He started Playing chess when he was studying 6th Class and now he is studying Intermediate First year. He became CHAMPION in U13 AP State Chess championship 2018. He stood 3rd Place in ALL INDIA FIDE RATED TOURNAMENT held in Vishakapatnam in Aug 2018.Gained 636 Elo rating points in 2019-20. He became CHAMPION in AP STATE ONLINE U16 OPEN CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP 2021 and secured 20th Place in Nationals. He secured 8th place in U15 ALL INDIA SCHOOL GAMES ONLINE CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP held in July 2021 and going to participate in ASIAN SCHOOL GAMES U15 CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP which is going to be started on 29th July 2021. He dedicated his sucess to his parents and Coaches Bheemrao and NVS Rama Raju.
