Mr. K Shyam Prasad Reddy achieved Candidate Master Title in 2021.

K Shyam Prasad Reddy from Tirupathi born in 2004 and started learning Chess in 2013. Very soon he started showing Good performance in the Tournaments.He secured Gold Medal in the KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA REGIONAL LEVEL SCHOOL GAMES U-17 CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP , HYDERABAD and participated in the KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA NATIONAL LEVEL SCHOOL GAMES U-17 CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP held in New Delhi in 2014. There after in the following years 2015 , 2016, 2017 achieved Gold , Silver and Gold medals in the KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA REGIONAL LEVEL SCHOOL GAMES CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP and participated KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA NATIONAL LEVEL SCHOOL GAMES U-14 CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP and secured Gold medals in 2016 & 2017.Mr.SPR got Silver Medal in AP STATE U-11 CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP which was held in East Godavari and got Bronze in the National Team Championship-2016 held in Srikalahasti, Chittor.He clinched the title Championship in AP STATE U-15 CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP-2016 held at YSR Kadapa and Runner Up in AP STATE CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP-2017 held in Bobbili , Vizianagaram in 2017.

Mr.SPR had participated around 20 National Level FIDE RATING CHESS TOURNAMENTS from 2015 to 2017 across India and more than 10 International Level FIDE RATING CHESS TOURNAMENTS from 2016 to 2019. He got 1 st Place in U-13 Category in the 9th KIIT International Chess Festival 2016 (below 2000) held in Bhubaneshwar in May 2016.He got 1 st Place in U-13 Category in the South Asian Amateur Chess Championship below 2000 held at Jammu Kashmir in September 2016.He achieved 2nd Prize in Below 2100 Rating Category in XXVI Open International of Chess Montcada which was held in Barcelona , Spain in June 2018.

Finally in 2021 received the CANDIDATE MASTER Title from the FIDE. Currently he is having 2220 Rating in the Classical Format. He dedicated all his achievements and Success to his parents Mr. K Ramesh Reddy , Mrs. P Sangeetha and his Coaches who trained and supported him.
