Chess coach Ram Kumar from Vizag won the MAJOR DHYANCHAND AP STATE CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP-2021
Mr. Ram Kumar won the first place with 7 out of 7 points in the MAJOR DHYANCHAND AP STATE ONLINE CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP-2021 organised by ANDHRA CHESS ASSOCIATION on 29 August 2021 on the Occasion of NATIONAL SPORTS DAY.
Mr.Ram Started playing chess in School Level. He participated in the University Level Chess Selections and represented Andhra University. First time he participated FIDE Rated event , MOTHER CHESS INTERNATIONAL GRAND MASTER OPEN TOURNAMENT in 2012 recieved First place in UNRATED CATEGORY with 6.5 out of 9 rounds and also got 1723 elo rating. There after he got so many prizes in his career. He secured 13th place in the Delhi Grand Master's Open FIDE Rating International Chess Tournament held in 2018. He got 2nd place in Andhra Pradesh State Rapid and Blitz Chess Championship in 2020. He became champion in the MAJOR DHYANCHAND AP STATE OPEN CHESS TOURNAMENT-2021.
