EVENT CODE : ACA/7/U16/2022

Eligibility: Players born on or after 01-01-2004 are eligible to participate upon recommendation from respective affiliated district chess association of Andhra Chess Association.

Date of Birth Certificates: Birth certificates registered before respective government authorities before one year from the date of Birth are valid. School certificates alone will not be considered as date of birth certificates. ( AICF rules are strictly followed in this regard)

Entries:

Normal entry: Each affiliated district chess association is entitled for 2 entries in each category ( Open & girls ). Normal entry fee: 300 ( to be paid either by player or respective district association)

Special entry: On payment of Rs. 1,000/- subject to recommendation of affiliated district chess association.

In case of no selections taken place in any district, player of such district should pay Rs. 500/- .
Payment of entry fee: Entry fee to be paid to 9010451585 G pay/Phone pay).

Schedule: From 27-03-2022 to 28-03-2022. Round timings decided by the Chief Arbiter.

Accommodation: Free dormitory accommodation will be provided by the State selection organisor to all Normal entry players.  Accompanying persons and special entry players have to look after their own arrangements.

Registration: ACA Registration Number is mandatory for all players . ( The registration can be done through apchess.org.  Players are requested to enrol their registration through apchess.org.  In case of difficulty they can contact Mr Uday Kumar, Joint Secretary, ACA for assistance. However in case if it is not possible for the player to register in apchess.org they need to send the ACA registration form to the organiser before the last date of registration.  ACA form can be  downloaded from website www.apchess.org downloads..

Acceptance of entries: Andhra Chess Association has reserve the right to reject or accept any entry if it feels fit as per the existing rules and regulations of Andhra Chess Association. 

Rules & Regulations: Championship will be organised separately for open and Girls.

System of Play: Latest FIDE rules applicable.

No of Rounds: decided by the chief Arbiter depending on strength

Time control: decided by the chief Arbiter

Default time: decided by the chief Arbiter

  Tie-Break:  1. Buchholz cut1;2. Buchholz all; 3. Sonneborn berger;  4. Direct encounter  

5. Number of victories (inclusive of forfeit point)

Appeals Committee: Appeal Committee will be formed during the Players meeting. Protest if any shall be lodged within 15 minutes of the incident with a fee of Rs. 1,000/- to the Chief Arbiter . The protest  fee will be refunded if the Appeal is upheld.

Electronic Devices: Players are strictly forbidden to bring any electronic devices including wrist watch to the tournament hall.

Selection: Selected players will be provided Merit certificates.  All other players will be provided Participation certificates. Top 2 of the championship in both categories will represent Andhra Pradesh for National.  Players will be provided Two T-shirts and they must ware those dress during the playing schedule of Nationals. Selected Players will be provided free dormitory accommodation and boarding by the Organising committee of Nationals.

Special entries to Nationals: Any player who wants to participate in the National age group should get enrolled  in the respective age group State Championship confirmed list before the due date of the State Championship .  In any case player will not be recommended for national age group without getting enrolled in the State Championship.  ( Note: If any selected  player of the respective district is not able to participate in the state championship he ( or) she has to pay Rs. 1,000/- to the State Organisor before the due date of state championship. He/she will not be considered as Normal entry irrespective of district selection in case of non participation in the State Championship.
