Andhra Chess association in its AGM at Visakhapatnam on 29.12.2022 has taken decision to conduct official selections for all 26 districts during 2023. Accordingly an affiliation committee formed headed by Mr bheemarao, secretary ,ACA as convenor and Mr KV Jwalamukhi, Mr AUK naidu, Mr Rama subbareddy and Mr S Manikanta rao being other members of committee. The committee was informed to appoint 5 men ad-hoc committees being one person as Official incharge/convenor for the newly formed 13 districts before start of official state championships for immediate functioning. Subsequently the committee will assist and recommend for regular affiliations to newly formed districts. Mr NM Phanikumar, Mr B venkayeswara rao & Mr K Nagarjuna have been appointed by the GB as official incharge / convers for Krishna, Anakapalli and Sri satya sai districts respectively. Affiliation committee is going to nominate the other members to those districts.
AGM under presidentahip of shri KVV sarma, president, Andhra chess association unanimously congratulated shri AV chalam, founder president of ACA and honble chairman of ACA who has resigned to Andhra chess association before contesting as Treasurer of Andhra cricket association and who has been elected unopposed as treasurer of Andhra cricket association. Mr Adusumilli Suresh has been nominated as honble chairman of ACA by the GB . Ater after approval of Audited accounts Discussed about future developmental activities .
Besides the above ACA constituted Disciplinary committee headed by Shri B kishore as convenor and Mr Ankarao and Mr Y kalyanakumar being members to prevent code of conduct of chess as defined in the FIDE / AICF/ ACA rules and regulations.

Andhra Chess association appointed Mr Bheemarao as Public Information officer and Mr KVV sarma as First Appellate Authority. Details of mail id and contact numbers will be shortly published preferably before 15th January.
ACA congratulated all medal winners during 2022 and qualified SNAs and CIS trainers. Early before meeting secretary furnished activities report which contains 57 state/FIDE/National/ International including FT seminar and one SNA seminar., 3 Torch relay programs in Andhra . Dynamic website apchess.org AP users reached 6000 and the highest public display in a calender year. This year all state official championships ships will be rooted through apchess.org only. New rules and regulations will be formed in the next EC meeting for all age group official championships.
GB unanimously resolved to thank KL University management or hosting National U8 at their campus at vijayawada and GITAM Management for hosting prestigious GM norm tournament at Visakhapatnam nearly after one decade in AP . Also thanked DRM office Visakhapatnam and EDIFY managent Tirupati who came forward to host nationals before finalization of national u8 at KL University. Also congratulated Mr kishore president west godawari for conducting 2 major classical fide events at Bhimavaram. Thanked SAAP for organising SAAP chess league after 2 decades and support of VCMD sri Prabhakar reddy garu, for successfull conduction of 44th olympiad Torch relays especially 2 programs in one day at different cities at vizag and vijayawada. Thanked all District sports authorities who helped through the year.
