Gnana Sai Santosh Crowned Champion at 4th FIRE Chess School State Open Chess Championship

Gnana Sai Santosh emerged victorious as the champion of the 4th FIRE Chess School State Open Chess Championship. Mummana Venkata Rithwik secured second place, followed by S. Varahalu in third.
The awards were presented by prominent figures from the Andhra Chess Association, including President Sri Adusumilli Suresh, Secretary Sri K. Jagadish, NM Phani Kumar (Organizing Secretary), KV Jwalamukhi (CEO), Sri Mandula Rajeev (Joint Secretary), and Sri N. Uma Maheswara Rao (Organizing Secretary). The event saw cash incentives totaling Rs. 1,00,000 being distributed to players across various categories.
Sri K. Kali Jagannadha, Treasurer of the Andhra Chess Association, supervised the tournament, while Mr. KV Jwalamukhi coordinated the entire event. Over 100 mementos were awarded to players in different categories, including the best from Vizianagaram, players with special needs, and various age groups.
For the fourth consecutive year, the FIRE Chess School has successfully organized the State Open Chess Championship, a tournament that undoubtedly enhances chess education in the North Andhra districts. Congratulations were extended to the FIRE Chess School and the Vizianagaram Chess Association for their motivational efforts in promoting the game of chess.
