All players should note that ACA renewal for the year 2024-25 is mandatory to participate in any state-level or higher-level tournament. Players cannot register without renewing for the year 2024-25. Once a player has renewed, they can participate in any tournament until March 31, 2025. The renewal fee of Rs. 100/- can be paid by clicking the “Pay” button next to the player's name. After the renewal, the player's name will appear on the list of renewed players. This process is automated by ACA.

It is important to note that after making the payment, players should wait for confirmation from the Andhra Chess Association. A common mistake is that players exit the window after receiving payment confirmation from payment gateway but before getting the ACA confirmation. Players must stay on the same page until ACA’s confirmation is received. In some cases, players accidentally make double payments without noticing. If this happens, players should inform the CEO of the Andhra Chess Association, Mr. Jwalamukhi, at 9703344488.

The renewal process is automated, and once you receive confirmation from ACA, your name will be visible on the renewed players list. Once renewed, the payment system will not allow you to pay again. Players who have created multiple ACA IDs should only use the correct one for renewal. If you have multiple IDs, inform the CEO via WhatsApp at the number mentioned above for correction or deletion.

Regarding tournament registration, for all official State Championships, Ranking Tournaments, and State Open Tournaments, the entry fee system is automated. Players cannot register without payment. Payment details can be found in the tournament's prospectus. If players miss the registration deadline, they cannot register for the tournament. Similarly, players must pay the late fee if registering after the regular deadline. If a player pays the normal entry fee instead of the special entry fee, they will be considered unregistered for the tournament. Therefore, players should carefully read the prospectus before making payments.

For state open tournaments, ACA renewal is mandatory for all players. For FIDE-rated tournaments in Andhra Pradesh, all AP players must be renewed for 2024-25 and must register on apchess.org. Players from outside Andhra Pradesh can register through other methods, such as Google links provided by the organizers.

Conditions for normal entry: A player's district must have conducted a selection tournament, and the details should be available on apchess.org and the ChessResults server. If a district has not organized selections, the player will be considered a special entry, and the district unit cannot stop the player from participating. Such players can request reimbursement of the special entry fee from their district association. ACA will take action against districts that do not conduct proper selection tournaments. In districts without an affiliated association, Ad-hoc Committees or In-charges will be responsible for organizing selections. The list of normal entries and guidelines for district selection procedures will be issued separately.
