Clarification on Normal Entry for State Championships:
Players will be considered as normal entry participants only if they are selected through the District Selection Tournaments.
In case a district does not conduct selection tournaments, players from such districts will be treated as special entry participants.
It is the responsibility of the respective District Chess Association to conduct district selections. If selections are not conducted, affected players may claim their special entry fee from the concerned district association.
State Championship organizers have the right to verify the selection details through the Chess-Results server. If the district selection details are not found on Chess-Results, those players will be treated as special entry players only.
This is not applicable to the districts of Kakinada, Parvatipuram Manyam, Bapatla, ASR, Annamayya, and Eluru, where there are no affiliated District Chess Associations.
If the selection is conducted by the in-charge of the district, then the selected players will be treated as normal entry participants, and the rest will be considered special entry players.
If no selection is conducted by the in-charge, then all players from that district has to pay the entry fee as normal entry participants.
