Chess Ignites New Horizons at Daniel Children’s Home, Chillakuru – ROI Chess Academy Launches Long-Term Coaching Program
Chillakuru, Gudur, Tirupati District – In a deeply inspiring initiative that bridges compassion with cognitive development, ROI Chess Academy, inspired by the noble call of Sri A. Suresh, President, Andhra Chess Association (ACA), launched a long-term professional chess coaching program at Daniel Children’s Home, Chillakuru, near Gudur, in Tirupati district.
This initiative marks a significant milestone in ACA’s ongoing campaign to bring chess to the most deserving corners of society — orphanages, child care homes, and shelters — as a tool for transformation.
A Home that Heals, A Game that Builds
The Daniel Children’s Home, under the thoughtful leadership of Mr. V. Anil Kumar, provides a safe haven for children who come from difficult or abandoned backgrounds. With over full-time residential care, academic freedom, and emotional support, the home has become a true beacon of hope in southern Andhra Pradesh.
Recognizing the home’s dedication, ROI Chess Academy, in coordination with ACA, formally launched a long-term chess coaching camp. The program was inaugurated by:

ROI Chess Academy has pledged to bear the full cost of coaching, equipment, tournament entry fees, travel expenses, and all chess-related needs for these young learners, nurturing them towards opportunities at district, state, national, and even international levels.
