The Visakhapatnam District U-19 Open & Girls Chess Selections – 2025 were successfully held at Samata Degree College, under the aegis of the All Visakha Chess Association and organized with great commitment by Aditya Chess Academy.
A total of 96 young players (70 in the Open category and 26 in the Girls category) showcased their skills and competitive spirit. The top four players from each category have earned the opportunity to represent Andhra Pradesh at the U-19 State Chess Championship, scheduled for August 8th & 9th, 2025, in Kurnool District.
