Visakha Chess Official Wins Logo Competition for 62nd National Chess Championship – 2025
Guntur, September 8:
The Organising Committee of the 62nd National Chess Championship – 2025 has announced the winner of its official logo competition. Out of 36 entries received from across the country, the creative concept submitted by Mr. Surisetti Manikanta Rao, SNA and Secretary of the All Visakha Chess Association, has been adjudged the best design.
The committee also acknowledged the artistic support of Mr. K.S. Nageswara Rao (popularly known as Nagu) from Jangareddygudem, who assisted in giving the logo its final design form.
In recognition of their contribution, Mr. Manikanta Rao will be felicitated with a cash award of ₹5,000/-, while Mr. Nagu will receive ₹2,000/-. The awards will be formally presented during the National Championship to be held at Vignan University, Guntur District, Andhra Pradesh, from September 22 to October 3, 2025.
