The Visakhapatnam Unrated Chess Tournament was successfully conducted at Andhra University by Aditya Chess Academy, drawing an enthusiastic participation of 151 players from across the region. The tournament featured 7 competitive rounds, offering a valuable platform for budding chess talents to showcase their skills.
After a day of intense and inspiring games, the following players emerged as the top performers:

3rd Place: Siddharth Bandaru
Trophies were awarded to the Top 10 players in the Main Category, as well as to the Top 10 finishers in each age group — Under 7, Under 11, and Under 15.
The event highlighted the growing interest in chess among youngsters in Visakhapatnam and emphasized the city’s strong sporting culture. The organizers expressed their gratitude to Andhra University, AVCA & ACA for their support and cooperation in hosting the event successfully.
