A total of 175 players from across the district participated with great enthusiasm. The tournament featured 7 rounds of competitive and exciting games, providing an excellent platform for young and emerging chess talents.
Top 3 Winners:-
1. Vamsi Krishna R – 6.5 points — ₹4,000 Cash Prize + Trophy
2. Taneesh Choppa – 6.5 points — ₹3,000 Cash Prize + Trophy
3. Prasanth K – 6 points — ₹2,000 Cash Prize + Trophy
Trophies and cash prizes were awarded to the Top 10 players in the open category.
Special awards were also presented for Best PHC, Best Woman, Best Unrated, and Best Veteran players.
In addition, trophies were distributed to the Top 5 performers in each age category: U7, U9, U11, U13, and U15.
