All players are requested to go through the *Andhra Pradesh State Championships – 2026 schedule* appended herewith. The championships have been designed in such a way that they do *not clash with the National Championships.* The schedules of the respective National Championships are also included in the calendar for reference.
Please note that the *Women’s State Championship is clashing with the U-9 National Championship,* which was unavoidable.
Similarly, we have *not given priority* *to avoiding clashes with ranking tournaments,* as players can participate in *any one of the ranking tournaments* to qualify and represent in the *National Schools Championship*.
This year, the *AP State Chess Olympiad* has been introduced. The event will be conducted for *U-6, U-8, U-10, U-12, U-14,* *and U-16 categories for both boys and girls separately on the same day.* There is *no corresponding National tournament in this category*.
All schedules are *subject to change if the National calendar* is rescheduled.
