The following Tournament Committee is constituted by Andhra Chess Association.
· Chairman: Sri Alluru Rami Reddy, Advocate & Member, Bar Council & Executive Vice-Chairman, BCI Trust
· Convenor: Sri K. Nagarjun, Joint Secretary, ACA
· Members: Sri Y.R. Balaraj, Sri P. Hussain Khan, Sri S. Sundar Raj, Mrs D. Anuradha
Functions & Powers of the Committee given to committee by ACA are as under:
The Committee is authorized to:
· Conduct and oversee district selection tournaments
· Allot, regulate, and monitor official chess events
· Recommend and facilitate State Open, District Open, and FIDE-rated tournaments
· Confirm participation of players for district, state, national, and FIDE events
· Ensure compliance with ACA / AICF norms and guidelines
· Coordinate with ACA for approvals, reporting, and entries
· Submit reports and updates to ACA periodically
Operational Clause:
All activities, communications, approvals, and operations of the Committee shall be routed through the Convenor (Head of the Committee). The Convenor shall be the sole point of contact and responsible authority for execution and coordination of all committee functions.
Web Credentials:
The existing district web credentials shall be shared with the above Tournament Committee Convener for smooth functioning. The Committee is instructed to:
· Create a new official email ID for operational purposes
· Update player registrations, tournament approvals, and entries regularly
· Coordinate with ACA Website Committee for technical support and compliance
