A young and talented
chess player from the Vizianagaram district, Veda Sai Sri Baswa, has
achieved a proud milestone by securing selection in the Under-7 Girls category
at the State Level Chess Championship held at Dwarka Tirumala on 05-04-2026.
With this achievement,
she has earned the opportunity to represent Andhra Pradesh at the upcoming
National Chess Championship, which is scheduled to be held on 07-06-2026 in Maharastra.
Her selection has brought pride to
the district. The District Chess Association members, including the Chairman Sri
