Sri Prakash Vidyanikethan Wins Bronze at AP State Schools Team Chess Championship 2026
Sri Prakash Vidyanikethan, Visakhapatnam, has clinched the bronze medal at the U18 Andhra Pradesh State Schools Team Chess Championship-2026, held in Guntur. Competing against 49 school teams from across the state, the team put up a strong performance over seven rounds, winning five matches and drawing one, finishing third in the final standings with 11 match points and 18.5 tiebreak points.
With this achievement, Sri Prakash Vidyanikethan has officially qualified to represent Andhra Pradesh at the National Schools U18 Team Chess Championship-2026.
