In an open contest comprising of 54 girls from all 13 districts of Andhra Pradesh a girl from Visakhapatnam captured the U12 Girls -2021 chess championship with unbeten 9 out of 9 rounds in a tournament held by Adhock committee in tornelo under zoom survivalence and got selecteced for National U12 girls to represent Andhra Pradesh. Devaki Nandana started her career on 11th February 2017. She became National Champion (silver) in the Under 9 Girls category at 33rd Nationals at Ahmedabad in 2019. Other achievements: Two-time AP state gold champion in 2019 and 2017 for U 9 and U 7 Girls. 8 th place in 2018 Commonwealth U 8 championship. Participated in World youth cadet and Corporate online championships conducted by FIDE Online and in Dubai School International championship. She was happy with the present title and she is confident about National U12 Girls performance.
