Sahithi Varshini Moogi 14-years old Chess Prodigy achieved Woman International Master Title achiever from Visakhapatnam

Sahithi Varshini Moogi 14-years old Chess Prodigy achieved the Woman International Master Title achiever from Visakhapatnam, has made city proud again by increasing her Fide rating to 2312 in the April 2022 published ratings and also she reached No.12 in our Indian Female Chess Palyers Rankings. Sahithi gained a massive 123 elo points in two tournaments in Budapest Hungary in First Saturday IM RR tournament and Vezerkepzo IM RR tournament . She increased her Fide rating from 2188 to 2312 . She also reached World No.3 in Fide rating rankings in U15 girls.
The entire family of Sahithi , father Lokeswar rao , Mother Jaya and Sister Falguni supported her chess career. Sahithi also scored her 4th WIM norm and missed WGM norm by a whisker.
Sahithi won more than 10+ international medals so far. She become Champion of Asian Under-10 Girls Chess Championship- 2017 held in Tashkent (Uzbekistan) and Champion of Asian Under-12 Girls Chess Championship- 2018 held in Chiangmai, Thailand. She become Champion of Commonwealth Under-10 Girls Chess Championship- 2017 held in Maharaja Surajmal Marg, Delhi.Sahithi secured 7th place in the World Cadets Under-10 Girls Chess Championship in 2017 held in Pocos de Caldas - MG , Brasil.
Her sister Falguni is a senior National Arbiter.
